Anxiety disorder
Anxiety disorders involve excessive and persistent fear, worry, or nervousness that goes beyond normal stress. While anxiety is a natural response to perceived danger or pressure, anxiety disorders occur when that response becomes chronic, disproportionate, or difficult to control.
Instead of appearing only in specific situations, anxiety may become a constant background experience, affecting thoughts, physical sensations, sleep, and concentration. Over time, it can interfere with daily responsibilities, relationships, and overall quality of life.
