Since 2007, Rody Leonardo-Baez has dedicated her career to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and older adults through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. She is committed to creating a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward healing, personal growth, and meaningful change.
Rody’s areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, autism spectrum disorders, parenting concerns and parent training, adjustment difficulties, perfectionism, chronic stress, and the unique challenges experienced by gifted individuals and high achievers. She also supports individuals and families navigating significant life transitions, including moving, changing schools, career changes, evolving family dynamics, and new stages of life.
Her therapeutic approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic, and individualized. Rody recognizes that every client brings a unique background, set of values, experiences, and goals to therapy. She tailors treatment to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
Rody incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy, family systems, narrative therapy, positive psychology, and strengths-based interventions.
Above all, Rody strives to provide a safe and welcoming space where clients can be themselves, better understand their experiences, recognize their strengths, heal from difficult seasons, strengthen relationships, and create lives that feel more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling.
